ABA therapy in Raleigh, North Carolina is delivered by Mastermind Behavior in your home, not in a clinic across the Beltline. We're a BCBA-owned in-home ABA therapy provider serving Wake County families with children up to age 21 on the autism spectrum. In a city where WakeMed, Duke Raleigh, and UNC Rex anchor pediatric care and ABA clinics cluster around North Hills, Brier Creek, and Cary, the in-home model removes the I-440 and I-540 traffic from the equation. Your child receives therapy in the rooms and routines where they actually live.
Raleigh is the state capital and the eastern anchor of the Research Triangle, with about 470,000 residents across Wake County and a metro that includes Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, and Garner. WakeMed, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and UNC Rex Hospital are the major health systems; pediatric specialty care extends to Duke Children's and UNC Children's in nearby Durham and Chapel Hill.
The picture for Raleigh families isn't a shortage of providers — it's a logistics question. Most clinics sit somewhere along the I-440 Beltline or out toward I-540, and getting there three to five days a week with school pickups, sibling schedules, and Triangle commute traffic isn't always feasible. Many families would benefit from ABA but the schedule has to actually work.
In our model, your BCBA writes the treatment plan based on what's actually getting in the way for your child, and your Behavior Technician runs sessions in your home in Raleigh. The skills practiced are the ones your child needs to use right where they live — at the breakfast table, in the back yard, on the way out the door to school. Direct local delivery is the whole point of the in-home approach.

You’ll celebrate your child’s progress as we work on…
Children with ASD struggle to express their feelings and understand what others are saying. As your child learns to express their wants & needs with gestures, eye contact and language, you’ll feel relieved and hopeful now that you can understand and connect to them better.
Your child CAN function better in your daily life. From putting on their own shoes, to sitting in their chair at the dinner table, your child will learn to function better at home. As they master skills like going to the bathroom, or walking safely across the road, life will become calmer and easier for everyone.
We’ll address self-harm, tantrums and other destructive behaviors so your child can feel happier, safer and be understood. Dealing with these behaviors early on prevents these behaviors from becoming harder to manage as your child gets older.
